Research: Planetary transit research, study of exoplanet atmospheres and host stars.
The topic of my research will be to develop an analytic transit model with which a new parameter, the oblateness of the observed exoplanet, can be derived. The topic is encouraged by the fact that all our Solar System planets which we can directly observe present oblateness, and it is also supported by the increase of photometric accuracy given mostly by space telescopes observations. Sub-topics: -WASP-33b: light-curve analysis and transmission and reflectance spectroscopy. -Qatar-1b: transit timing variations.
