Travel information

The conference venue is the Congress Centrum Hamburg (CCH) which is located downtown Hamburg near Dammtor, University and "Messe". The CCH has its own travel information, as well.
The city of Hamburg has some official travel information including some schematic maps for orientation. Maybe, a map of Hamburg helps, too (alternative map).
The CCH can easily be reached by public transportation (S-Bahn Station Dammtor or U-Bahn Station Stephansplatz) and is within 2 minutes walking distance of these stations. Please note that public transportation in Hamburg will be free for registered participants during the meeting.

By Sea

Hamburg has one of the largest ports. Maybe you can even find a connection by sea.

By Air

Hamburg also has an airport . Its international three letter code is HAM.

The airport is located relatively close. You need some sort of ground transportation to get downtown. The easiest is to take one of the express busses or a Taxi cab.

As an alternative you may fly into Lübeck airport which has a convenient shuttle service to Hamburg .
Lübeck's international three letter code is LBC and is mostly serviced by the European discount carrier Ryanair.

By Rail

Hamburg has several train stations. The closest train station to the conference venue is "Hamburg Dammtor". Click on one of the following buttons to find out about connections to Hamburg-Dammtor.

By Road

If you must you can drive to Hamburg. There is detailed information on traffic jams, road work, parking lot situation and more available.
