Moving the telescope by mouse drag

To position an object conveniently on a particular point of the display the telescope can be moved by mouse drag. Set the mouse pointer on the object. Press the middle mouse button and drag the mouse to the position desired. With release of the button the message move telescope appears (Figure 13). Click on the message with the left mouse button to start telescope positioning. At the end of the operation the message ``positioning finished'' appears.

If tracking is enabled, tracking is temporarily disabled during positioning and restarted again automatically. If this operation is made while the telescope is in ``guide'' mode, guiding is automatically stopped. Adjust the guide field and restart guiding manually (Section 5).
