The Opteron cluster
Status: 19 nodes up and running (Jan. 25, 2010)
Our AMD64 cluster is a 24 node opteron cluster connected by infiniband.
For each node, the essential specs are:
- Dual Opteron 244 CPUs at 1.8Ghz
- 8GB RAM
- Infiniband
- GNU/Linux (as of this writing: Ubuntu 6.06LTS)
