Before I married, I was living in a shared flat, together with three other people. It's not much cheaper than living single, but it's definitely much more fun!
When planning one of our parties, we had the idea to do something like a vernissage, with pictures to be delivered by our guests as admission to the party. Apparently our guests liked this idea very much - we really were surprised by their creativity and the artistic skill shown by some of them. Unfortunately several guests took their pictures with them at the end of the party (among them a marvellous portrait of Samuel Beckett, and a wonderful installation made from photocopies of a nude photography) and some other pictures simply were too big for the scanner.
