Auf- und Ausbau des Hamburger Quasar Surveys, regelmäßige Beobachtungsreisen zum Calar Alto, Unterstützung beim Aufbau des Projekts      (abgeschlossen)

Auf- und Ausbau des Rechnernetzes der Hamburger Sternwarte, Systemadministrator

Entwicklung eines physikalischen Modells zur Beschreibung und Erklärung der heliumvariablen Sterne.
Es handelt sich um Sterne, die durch strahlungsgetriebene Winde und starke Magnetfelder auf der Oberfläche Häufigkeitsanomalien zeigen.
Außerdem zeigen sie mit dem Stern rotierende, durch das Magnetfeld gehaltene Hüllen in Form eines Ringes.
