My research activity is in the field of extra-galactic radio astronomy, focussed on the study of magnetic fields and cosmic ray particles in galaxy clusters through radio observations.
I use the Very Large Array, the Giant Metrewave Radio telescope to observe clusters of galaxies at frequencies between 200 MHz and 8 GHz.
I am part of the LOFAR collaboration, actively involved in its commissioning and full member of two Key-Science Projects (Survey and Magnetism).
Since October 2013 I am part of the SKA magnetism working group.
