Reserved Accommodations
We have reserved an allocation of more than 130 rooms with the Hamburg Travel Office ranging from 88 to 105 Euro per night and person. You will need to print out this form, fill it out and fax it to the Hamburg Travel Office (+49 (0) 40 6899 9334). Note, that you need a credit card to make your reservation.

For all hotels you need to take into account a 20-30 minute ride with the public transport system. Deadline for hotel bookings: 18 August 2008
Individual hotels
In general, it is possible to get hotels with more favorable fares or which are closer if you reserve ASAP (However, it was not possible for us to reserve large amounts of rooms in such hotels). In case you wish to make your own plans please consult either of e.g.

Youth hostels
There are two youth hostels in Hamburg. The Auf dem Stintfang youth hostel is located near underground station Landungsbrücken. It will take 10 minutes to get to Schlump where the Geomatikum is located. The Horner Rennbahn youth hostel is located within walking distance of underground station Horner Rennbahn. Departing from there it will take you 17 minutes to get to Schlump. The price for an overnight stay in a shared room is about 20-30 Euros. Click on the links below to make your reservation.
Public transport
Upon arrival you will receive a free ticket for the public transport system, valid for the duration of the workshop.
